![]() ![]() Virgil: Dangerous Minds quest sends you on a fun little jaunt out into the Glowing Sea, starting that quest. You can do the main quest Institutionalized but better not to. Minutemen: Advance their quest lines, get some settlements together and proceed on until you arrive at the Institute. MAIN QUEST: Now complete Reunion and do Dangerous Minds. Smooch up to him and using a charisma level you probably don't have, (several difficult speech checks) get him to rejoin the BoS. Get your butt royally kicked a few times as you find all three holotapes (Death Claws and maybe a Mama Mirelurk will need hugging). This is a side quest of the BoS, The Lost Patrol. Now go wander the wastes until you come across distress radio beacons. Go chum it up at the Cambridge Police Dept. MAIN QUEST: Play up through Getting a Clue and start Reunion but do not complete. Prescience, scrying, divination or being friends with somebody on the development team helps a lot here. The problem is you will need a higher level character by gaining experience but avoiding getting caught up in the various quest lines. You will either need to start a new game or load an early saved game where the main quest has not progressed beyond a certain point. It is next to impossible to accomplish if you just randomly play the game. You discover you went up a dead end alley often long after it is too late. NOTE: Simply having certain quests entered in your journal makes some necessary dialogues and quest options in other factions unavailable. Doing Institute quest lines will always result in one or more of the others factions getting smushed and more quests becoming unavailable. The Institute must get trashed and it's rewards and radiant quests will become unavailable. This will give you the most possible quests in the long run. The goal: After all is said and done, remaining in the good graces of three of the four opposing factions, leaving their respective radiant quests available. (Helping Virgil out on your own for example) It is possible that doing some unrelated quests by simply chance stumbling into them will mess up a faction quest. Quests involved: Main Quest, BoS Main and side quests, Minutemen main and side quests, Railroad main and side quests, plus an assortment of seemingly unrelated quests two or more factions could direct you into. You are about to embark upon a trip involving wading chest to neck deep in liquid horseshit as you wriggle through a labyrinth of intertwining quest lines.
